Going Back to Cali...

Sorry about this last installment. It always takes me a few days after I get back from anywhere to get adjusted and down to business. To all my new friends in Japan, I will miss you guys very much. Thank you for all your hospitality and friendship. I will surely make an effort to visit you again. Here are a few photos from my last couple of days.

Odaiba, Aoyama, Asakusa & Tsukiji Fish Market

So the weather finally showed me some love and the sunshine came out full force. So to return the favor Dee and I hit the streets hard on bikes! Tokyo was left helpless as we we hit every hood from corner to corner. San Francisco has trained us well. No hills here, so rides are a breeze to say the least. Here are some photos from our week out...

Start you with a random Flick from Yoyogi Park

I'm sure you thought you had seen it all...

You have to hit the Wholesale Fish Market pretty early. We set our alarm for about 5:30. Made it out there around 7:30. It was totally worth it. I've never seen such madness. These photos can't even begin to explain what I saw...

Running Around With Dee...

So Dee finally got in on Wednesday, and to her surprise the rain had washed away most of the Cherry Blossom in the City. We've been making the best of it with good umbrellas, great food, lots of walking and bike rides on sunny days...

OSAKA, JP

So I traveled out to Osaka for a few days. Took the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) for ¥13600. Stayed in a Capsule Hotel which was like Blade Runner but for real. Then spent a day checking out the Cherry Blossom Festival @ Himeji Castle which was one of the coolest things I have ever seen... If you haven't, you must!
